Chris Brown’s ‘Zero’ Video For Rihanna or Karrueche?

Chris Brown unveils another viral single entitled ‘Zero’. The star is probably pin pointing to her previous girlfriends either Rihanna or his baby momma. So far, the artist is focused on raising his daughter Royalty, who made the social media extremely rummaging with series of gossips and relationship business talks.

Karrueche Tran, Chris Brown’s baby momma, is identically creeping, according to sources, the star and dramatically aiming for getting him back. It is an absolute no maybe for Brown but there are no straight facts with regard to Tran’s  and Brown’s relationship statuses.

“A lot of people think I am a weak individual because of past situations, and when it comes to business, sometimes people don’t want to be involved with somebody like that. Which is understandable, but it sucks, because I’m not a weak person,” she said as reported by Hot New Hip Hop. “I used to date him, and now as I am growing into myself and maturing and getting my career together, I am starting to have my own name without having to be associated.”

With regard to her comment, it may be a shot black that she is NOT dating Chris Brown but indeed is focused on her maturity as a woman and as a mother to Royalty. Despite her clarifications, the model is obviously not denying any social media rants slapped onto her face after unveiling Royalty to the public.

“I feel like I shouldn’t have to explain myself to anybody because this is my life and I can do whatever I want. But in the same breath, it’s like, now that I am trying to focus on my career and get my stuff together, I have to clear up certain things. Negative stuff was being said and being brought up. A lot of people were like ‘she’s only famous because of Chris Brown,’” she said.

For those who have not heard Chris Brown’s new song yet, here it is:

Do you think he did well on his song ‘Zero’? Basing on the lyrics, “Ask how many nights I’ve been thinking of you, zero, zero,” say bye bye Karrueche and Rihanna because Chris is never falling back again.

How Hashtags, Fan Finder and Reddit Can Help A Youtube Video

Proper marketing in Youtube and even on Twitch needs the proper attribution of hashtags, definitions, bios and more. There is only a maximum of 1% chance of having the uploads on the viral video list. For most cases, the viral video can only separate in two results: a positive or a negative.

If the video is positively interpreted, the popularity of the video can skyrocket even by the use of Facebook’s share feature. The share feature not only enables users to let others be engaged on the same video, but also adds more opportunities for the video to be advertised on the television.

There are many cases where the video advertised on the television are only sponsored by several investors, who are aiming for the company’s profitable figures. But if the video only aims for low-level investors, then whichever video that may be can be advertised on the web, or even on some websites.

Here, Vintay Time’s post, written by Ankit Singh Dev, explains how hashtags, fan finder and reddit can help:

Target Social Media, popular hash tags

Social media sites are the main source to promote a video free of cost, but many of you have a question, what’s the strategy to make a YT video successful through social sites. The first thing comes in a common man mind is must have social site page, or group or an account that has good fans, but not every people have fans like a celebrity have, so you may target the hash tags which are commonly used by most of users like #tech, #facebook and more . In Facebook you can also target other open groups, comments to put the video link but I think it’s not really give so much views.

The hash (#) tags is now a feature of all social media sites so why we don’t use this feature for promotion purpose. Many folks promote posts through hashtags but the clicks are very low so if you use video instead of web page link you see the click are really awesome and your video also gain more share that gain more views & shares.

Here are some popular social site links to find super charge hash tags:

YouTube fan finder

It’s a new program let you submit up to five channel ads for YouTube-funded, on-site TrueView instream ad promotion. It’s really perfect for what we are finding here, YouTube target users who already watch your videos and show your selected video ads to those users. Using fan finder you never loose any viewer and all of your video viewers are in touch of your channel like a subscriber.

To enable fan finder go to Sign in to YouTube > Setting > Channel > Fan finder > Enable fan finder > Accept terms > Select your channel ad & you have done. Before submitting video ad, make sure your video should be creative or entertaining, that’s what the users wants. Don’t submit learning videos its not good for advertisement and make sure the video you submit is begin with creative & an entertaining scene so you get more clicks. Here is a snapshot how your free ad looks like:

Submit video to reddit & other web content serving sites

After uploading a new video on your channel, we always think now what to do to increase views so for those we suggest them to submit their video link to reddit and other sites who serve quality web contents to visitors. Mostly people use reddit to promote funny & entertaining videos because it’s really awesome and once your video go to front page the views of your video increase like a flood. It’s not important that the channel had already so many subscribers so they didn’t submit link to reddit even your channel gain more subscribers through reddit if a user found that your channel publish good videos.

There are also so many sites who serve quality web contents, but not all help more like these sites help more I listed below:

If you didn’t know how to submit the video link on above sites you may look on Google search with query ” <site name> submit ” for ex. “Reddit submit”.

4 Ryan Higa Life Hacks Leave You Speechless

He is back. Ryan Higa is back in making people smile before they go to bed or even head to the office. This internet sensation is comparing how influencing the world-wide web is today and how people are now usually conversing through chat instead of speaking personally.

Second, he was asked if he could make a parody of the U.S-hit show ‘The Big Bang Theory’. He then said that he hates shows that includes human laughs as it becomes obligatory to the audiences to giggle. Quite a television tactics, but sometimes, it’s really something worth questioning. This so-called “immature forced comedy” has changed the “intelligent comedy” structure as time passes by.

Another funny was when Ryan made fun of Frozen’s ‘Do You Wanna Build A Snowman’ as he is reverting the story to his urge of playing video games with his brother. Everybody fights with their siblings, but this is a whole different story.

However, the best part here is when he enumerated some life hacks that people eventually would copy – or not?

  1. The Diet Life Hack – taping mirrors on food with an “EWWW” sticky-note to restrict people from taking your food.
  2. The Phone Finder – attaching some kind of strand or any type of tape and sticking it to a wall on your house. This, indeed, is worthy, “unless you lose your house,” he says.
  3. The Fart Filter – taping a fabric conditioner to one’s underwear. Gross!
  4. Shower Steam Ironing Thing – hanging out wrinkled clothes near the hot shower, but away from the water of course.

So, I know there are a lot of crazy nonsense on this post, so here’s Ryan Higa:

YouTube Comments Is An Advantage For Video Advertising, SEO Purposes: reports

In getting more YouTube Likes, Subscribers and Comments, making sure that a good content can be found. It is not necessary that after a week of the first video was uploaded the channel can garner millions of subscribers already. It is a step-by-step process which involves time – way much time.

The enlisted things below expound why engaging in Youtube advertising is a positive. Daily Deal Media talks about how could YouTube be beneficial and what are the advantages of starting on YouTube advertising:

  1. Easy to Share

Below each video, there are sharing options users can easily click on to make your video viral. They can Like the video, recommend it to their network in Twitter, Facebook or send the video through e-mail to their friends. Leveraging on social media sites maximizes your video sharing capacity. To boost the promotion, post your YouTube video links onto bulletin boards of your friends. In this way, their visitors will also see the link on their friend’s profile. When they get interested, your video gets another unique view count and you have an added chance to have a new subscriber.

On the video itself, you can attach invitation links to have your viewers conveniently subscribe as well. Sharing is easy; you just have to take the time and little effort to publicize your video content across a variety of social media channels. You can also blog about it and then embed the YouTube video on your website.

  1. FREE

Your uploaded YouTube videos will appear in both YouTube and Google search engines. You can get your brand go viral with millions of views, introduce your company and the benefits of your products—all without cost. There are no fees to pay in using YouTube. So don’t worry if you’re just starting out and experimenting on its use. You can practice and test your own creative ways on doing videos and see how the market reacts for free.

  1. Strategic Tagging

Alexa ranks YouTube as the second highest trafficked site globally. What this means is that when you market your products and services through YouTube videos, you can have about 60 million viewers in a month. Emarketer says that the market is predominately Generation Y online surfers who understand 18 languages. They explore the Internet about five to six hours daily. Given this demographics, you can have a smarter way of knowing who and how to target them.

YouTube has a feature that allows you to tag your videos with keywords. These keywords can comprise of words or phrases that make your videos appear in users’ related searches. These tags are also the baseline for YouTube to control the videos that show up in the Related Videos section.

To optimize your tags effectively, select about three keywords and use them in all your videos. These tags should be unique (nobody but you use them in the entire YouTube site). When you are successful in determining the ones that work, it will be easier for users to reach your video. When you see that you’re getting more views, then you can enter more generic tags.

YouTube advertising can really be tough at first, and this why likes, subscribers and comments come to place. In creating a video on YouTube, the advertiser must make sure that all of those components are checked on the settings. Make sure that the viewers can add comments, like and dislike and subscribe on the video and on the channel.

Engaging with people is the main reason why YouTube has gotten way too far on innovating with business ventures globally. So this advancement can be, of course, progressive if all users would post and allow different viewers to add comments and like. Another thing, it is also beneficial for the search engine optimization to have comments on videos because there are a lot of words included on its algorithm, making way for YouTube to read it more easily – and in return, could be beneficial for the YouTube and Google search results.

7 Easy Ways To Get YouTube Views, Subscribers And Likes

Even small businesses on YouTube grow because of good content. The more people are subscribed to you channel, the more possibilities of your video being spread like wildfire on the Internet. The best way to isolate the people, who are interested in what you are doing, is to upload or share your videos to forums. However, did you know that there are some things more than that?

INC has posted the ten best tips they know would be helpful for business marketers and even vloggers all around the world. By the use of the statistics built up from 30,000 people, these are the conclusive ways to get YouTube views, subscribers and likes – the easiest, cheapest and most practical way.

  1. Don’t spend a lot on fancy video production.

The average self-created video on YouTube (as opposed to a movie trailer or something) has a budget of about $300, Atkinson says. On the other hand, do spend a little time and effort creating your own YouTube channel for your brand, and giving it distinctive graphics.

Spending too much money not only affects your profit percentage, but the logistics under the company. If you are just vlogging, however, you have to make sure that you just share your channel on social media and not pay instantaneously right after you create the channel. It’s impractical!

  1. Don’t be sucked in by dreams of a viral video.

The odds of any particular video going viral these days are minuscule, Atkinson says. And even if you get there, it may not be that useful since page views for a viral video may not translate into purchases or even visits to your website.

Viral videos are viral spontaneously. There is no easy way in for becoming a viral on the social media. There’s an assured way, however, of how to make it popular – and that’s by sharing it to forums.

  1. Try to get customers to post videos involving your product.

Having customers post or re-post videos that involve your product in some way is far, far more effective than posting any kind of video yourself, Atkinson says. How do you get that to happen? It’ll take some research, but seek out customers who are using your product, or even your category of product, in interesting ways and/or posting video of them.

“We had a company selling industrial mowers, and they got people to post videos of themselves laying down different mowing patterns into the grass,” Atkinson says. In that case, the client found people who were mowing in patterns and offered incentives for them to try it with this brand of mower and then upload the video.

Success is easily transported through words. There are some hyperlinks that can be useful in order for people to share your videos. There are annotations and landing pages that can be done. If you’re vlogging, you can create a simple Facebook page and have your video shared online.

  1. Ignore stats that don’t lead to sales or at least website visits.

Comments are a big deal when it comes to blogs, Facebook, and other social media, but they’re meaningless in YouTube, Atkinson says. So are likes and subscriptions.

“Re-posts are effective,” he says. “The more advocacy you can get, the better.”

  1. Don’t do traditional marketing.

Internet users and especially YouTube visitors these days have little patience for marketing that “stays on message.”

“The worst is going into a 20-minute diatribe about how your product is the best thing out there,” Atkinson says. “YouTube patience is very short. You’ll get this false data where it looks like you had a lot of page views but it turns out people are ending the video within six seconds.”

  1. Know your goals.

They should be specific and measurable. A lot of brands go into social marketing, including YouTube very blind. Or worse, they hire someone to do something for them and don’t say what indicators they want to see changed. If we’re going to spend a month doing this and $1,000, we want to see not only views, but people landing on our site and, ideally, buying.”

  1. Be patient.

Marketing over YouTube is much more indirect than, say, buying keywords on search sites or putting banner ads on pages, Atkinson warns. “People say, ‘We spent two months doing this, we gave away a couple of video cameras so people would upload their videos and nothing happened,’” he says. But a YouTube campaign takes a while to build, so be prepared to give it at least six months.

There are more to video blogging and video marketing other than just paying for advertisements. It’s better to get organic readers, viewers and subscribers rather than ghosts and forced viewers. A video can become popular in years’ time. So there’s no absolute shortcut.

7 Ways to Instant Youtube Followers

Youtube has been sitting on the most popular video platform reaching billions of people globally. The growth of Youtube has been progressive since the day it was established to the surprising amounts of investors it has through time.

Increasing Youtube views is very hard especially for beginners. There are some apps and promotions that offer paid views; however, this is very much likely to succeed and this would serve as a notice to all that please do not invest on paying such websites as they are using bots to increase your views. This, eventually, would alert Youtube and have your video removed from the platform or worse, have your channel terminated. You may stick to our basic steps of boosting views below:

  1. Insert Sense of SEO

Creating a Youtube video would determine that you are ready to become popular. Being able to reach many audiences is vital, and so is establishing a good search engine manipulation. The SEO is the one responsible for placing a certain post to a higher position on the searches.
In the black box emphasized, the number of possible videos to watch are counted. Meaning, a certain video of the same word search will compete against more than 227,000 other uploads. Having the SEO put to plate, this is basically the reason why. You don’t want to compete with more than 200,000+ or even millions of uploads so might as well focus on a specific keyword search.
Basically, if you want your video to pop up higher than your competitors, you might want to explain the video you have made in the Video Description below the media. An example is attached below:

yout

Moreover, being an amateur on Youtube would just be around less than a year, if lucky just a couple of months.

  1. Use Facebook

Why should you settle for less if you can use the world’s largest connection platform – Facebook? Due to billions of people who already has an account, there are hundreds of reasons why you should advertise or at least promote your channel or your video in here.

The large population makes it easier for you to connect with people. Moreover, Facebook’s pay per click and pay per view features can help you increase your page views to more than 500 in just a day. However, this would deduct you at least $15 in your bank account; but it’s all worth it. Of course, those marketers and vloggers who invest much on advertising would have better results. But you’ll get there in time.

  1. Make Your Channel User Friendly

There are instances that a channel’s lifespan is shorter than a potato crisp. One of which is the inability to organize and deliver appropriate language or approach to your target audiences. The main reason you are creating a channel is to entertain and help others not to benefit yourself first on the line.

When you have already done your research on SEO and Facebook promotion then you better watch the words and the video editors that you use. You might not want viewers commenting that they’re offended; or worse, them giving you a thumbs down.

  1. Create Your Own Separate Website

Just like any other forms of communication to your “soon-to-be-subscribers,” you want them updated on everything that you do that would benefit and entertain them. Some subscribers on Youtube often come back to your channel because they are not aware if you have already uploaded a new one. But the easiest way for them to reach you is through a website, Facebook set aside of course.

In vlogging, there’s blogging first and foremost. You must create a good blog or website that shows your Instagram, Pinterest or personal articles. Those things would be beneficial for your subscribers in the sense that they feel like they’re moving inside the swing of your life.

  1. Create Good Icons and Annotations

There is a feature wherein Youtube lets you choose between three random captures from your video. In spite that these stolen snips are fine, you may still upload your own icon. You could take a photo and add words to it so that your viewers could eventually see the beauty even just before
hitting the click.

  1. Promote and Advertise (Businesswire; citing source)
  • Paid promotion: To promote your YouTube videos there are two successful kinds of paid promotion that you can do.  First, consider paid advertising across active social channels and via Google AdWords to help relevant audiences find you via search and social.  Secondly, issue a press release to alert media outlets, bloggers and more that your video or video channels exist.  Include a short summary of the types of content you include and, if possible, frequency of updates, to generate views

  • Earned outreach: Don’t forget to alert your PR contacts of your new content marketing program.  Media outlets are always looking for visual content to accompany industry pieces; let them know your channel may contain the content relevant to their readers.

  • Owned channels: You have to tell people about your video; how else will they know your program exists? Promote your new YouTube content on your website, social channels, email signatures and intranets to increase views and shares of your content.

  • Initiate partnerships: The single fastest way to increase the views of your YouTube videos is to ask likeminded, more famous YouTube personalities to share it for you. Yes, this may require an exchange of money but it works.

  1. Consistency

According to Lifehack, “Consistency is important, since potential new viewers will judge on whether to stick around or not by the quality of your videos. Be consistent in quality, and put 100% effort into each video. If you start slacking, it will be reflected through your videos and your audience will catch you out.

I hope these tips and tricks will help you gain some extra exposure on your YouTube videos. I have been following these guidelines and it has allowed me to have my own videos gain views in the high thousands.”

Moreover, make sure that you religiously inform your viewers or subscribers when you’ll upload your next video. This ensures them that you will still be active in the following days. Primarily, communication is the key just like what we told you earlier. So you better get your hands to work every time it’s time to upload. Make sure that you mean the time you’ve told them, or else you might lose subscribers. Loyalty at its finest indeed.

4 Vlogging Tips: Your Answers to Having a Successful Youtube Channel

Youtube has become the primary source of virtual tutorials, socializing and to what’s more popular nowadays, video blogging. With the massive amounts of Youtubers and aspiring uploaders who aim to influence, or for some to achieve popularity, reading decent tips is one of the essentials before creating a successful channel.

According to Wiki, “a video blog or video log, usually shortened to vlog /ˈvlɒɡ/, is a form of blog for which the medium is video, and is a form of web television.” Innovation-wise, the term, vlogging will stay as sturdy as the renaissance influence as long as cameras and aspirations of different peoples are present – to which we all doubt would be gone soon.

Just like the Youtube stars Ryan Higa, Lucas Cruikshank, Anthony Padilla, Ian Hecox, Shane Dawson and Ray William Johnson, this social media platform has been their execution of feelies (to what the new generation refer to as ‘deep expressions’) and source of income. For years, technology has never been so good that uploading and editing could make a difference on bank accounts. Inevitably, the unstoppable era of vlogging spreads like wildfire, bringing more people in the business – mainly, advertising.

Ads Rules in the United Kingdom (Latest Issue); Business Insider reports, citing sources:

  • Online marketing by a brand:Where a brand collaborates with a vlogger and makes a vlog about the brand and/or its products and shares it on its own social media channels.
  • “Advertorial” vlogs:A whole video is in the usual style of the vlogger but the content is controlled by the brand and the vlogger has been paid.
  • Commercial breaks within vlogs:Where most of the vlog is editorial material but there’s also a specific section dedicated to the promotion of a product.
  • Product placement:Independent editorial content that also features a commercial message.
  • Vlogger’s video about their own product:The sole content of a vlog is a promotion of the vlogger’s own merchandise.
  • Editorial video referring to a vlogger’s products:A vlogger promotes their own product within a broader editorial piece.
  • Sponsorship: A brand sponsors a vlogger to create a video but has no control of the content
  • Free items:A brand sends a vlogger items for free without any control of the content of the vlog.

For most people, vlogging essentials include pieces of expensive videography equipment. To which, MarkE Miller, an openly gay travel, life and inspiration enthusiast from Bloomington, Indiana, contested. According to his video, a wide sense of creativity and practicality beat all the expenses. The mere reason for vlogging is to advertise and get more viewers as days go by. Becoming viral would just become a bonus – all if it comes to that.

But how does filming using your regular iPhone do all the job? Will the quality be the same as a portable camera? How much effort is needed to start vlogging?

How Much Do You Like to See Yourself Filming?

Before manipulating tons of software, parts of camera and to-do lists, knowing your interest shall be your base. Make sure that you understand what you are shooting. Have a clear idea of where your goals would lead to, and what do you want your readers to feel after they’ve buffered throughout your video.

Many have tried, but many, too, failed. Why? Economically speaking, there are so many competitors in the business, to which we will talk about further, but the reasons are never limited.

The powers of idealism, realism and entertainment in ones’ mind combined expel the vicious amounts of emotions nonetheless. To which viewers would find interesting and identify the channel – your channel – worthy of checking from time to time.

In different categories (i.e. music, fitness, health, beauty, and etc.), the devotion of every Youtuber, referring to the uploader, is vital for their own stability. No cases of a fast-track success with no apparent efforts done and competitors were reported so far, putting news in the line.

Is There Demand? (Vlognation; citing sources)

Now, is there a demand for the kinds of vlogs you’d be uploading on YouTube? Take a moment to search for a few keywords related to the niche or industry you’re thinking of vlogging about on your YouTube channel. Search specifically for YouTube videos with related topics. You will most likely find one of two things. Either there are very few YouTube vlogs available, or there are so many vlogs that you can’t choose which ones to watch.

If there are little to no YouTube vlogs at all, this is potentially indicative that there isn’t really a demand for the niche. However, take a look around on some forums and on social media. You could have just found a niche where no one has made any vlogs yet.

If there are seemingly millions of YouTube videos on your desired topic area, look at the top search results. Consider what they have in common, and think of an angle you could use that would set you apart from them.

Will There Be A Tough Competition?

What sets a vlogger apart from the other is just one of the factors why popularity isn’t always stagnant. Just like any other plant, continuous watering and perfect sunlight are needed. These are metaphors to continuous updating of the channel.

The reasons why a viewer doesn’t subscribe or follow a channel may be because it’s (1) boring, (2) it doesn’t interest them or (3) you don’t update. Seeing other vloggers upload on a regular basis affects. Obviously, they could unsubscribe or worse, they might not come back. Less viewers, less advertising opportunities, less income at some point take note.

Editing Using Locally Installed Apps (Social Media Examiner, citing sources)

MovieMaker (on Windows) and iMovie (on Mac) are free and quite serviceable.

If you don’t mind spending a few hundred bucks, my favorite apps for editing a video locally are Camtasia (for PC) and ScreenFlow (for Mac).

Trick: Yes. The same apps that allow you to capture your screen also allow for basic (but sufficient) video editing as well.

These two apps are quick, easy and intuitive. Here are the links to those tutorials again.

More advanced solutions include Final Cut (Express and Pro versions) for Mac and Sony Vegas Studio HD for PC.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention a great (and free) online training resource for Final Cut.

Check out this course by Israel Hyman. The course consists of 16 wonderful and free video tutorials.

Larger Implications: The subtle implication of all this is that if it feels like the days of specialization are over, well… you’re right.

Specialization is a concept invented by the cogs of the industrial revolution and it’s NOT a natural state of the human psyche.

Imagine if Leonardo da Vinci specialized only in art. The world of science and architecture would have a gaping hole in it.

My point?

We all need to become jacks of all trades and masters of few. It’s not enough to be an amazing real estate agent or a photographer; you must also become an effective content producer.”

Here are some of the tutorial guides that might be helpful for your editing:

Learn how to use MovieMaker

Learn how to use iMovie

Learn how to use Camtasia

Learn how to use ScreenFlow

Whatever you are trying to do, the main reason you are creating a channel is for you to learn and grow as a person. The way you interpret and work timely on the things to achieve milestones, including getting your 100th subscriber or first 10,000+ views, are all that matters. Ones you have executed the passion, the income blossoms. Just be yourself because Youtube is YOU.

Video Marketing: Why Ditching YouTube for Facebook Might Be A Wrong Idea

If you are planning to totally halt publishing your videos on YouTube’s platform, you might want to reconsider.

Facebook’s sudden rise is undeniably alluring. The social network is saying that people around the world are uploading 75% more videos in 2015 compared to last year.

Despite being threatened by Facebook’s rising popularity, YouTube remains a formidable platform for brands to market their products and causes. YouTube’s over 1 billion users watch hundreds of millions of hours each day which subsequently generates billions of view.

Mike Gingerich, president of Digital Hill, a software management firm in Indiana, explains why he thinks totally ditching YouTube for Facebook might be a big mistake… at least for now.

Choosing YouTube or Facebook video for business

Video is an excellent tool for businesses to tell their brands’ stories. In today’s media driven society, videos are becoming more important as a tool for businesses to be using to communicate and connect with their target markets. Videos convey information in accessible ways. They create emotional connections between a business and its audience. But which online video sharing platform is the best to reach your customers? This article will compare two top platforms: YouTube and Facebook Video.

YouTube

YouTube is the established juggernaut of online video sharing, boasting 1 billion users each month. Owned by Google, it is the most searched online video site on the web and certainly has a lot going for it including:

• SEO Ranking — Because YouTube is a Google product, its videos are more likely to pop up on the first page of a search result. Hosting your video on YouTube, adding a keyword rich title and including a detailed description with tags increases the search ranking of your videos online. It’s a key way your business and product/service can be found online.

• Discovery Through Browsing — YouTube users frequently discover content by clicking on “related videos.” This makes it possible for users to stumble upon your video, and hence, your brand. By having videos on YouTube you increase the opportunities for people to find out about your company.

• Easy Uploading — Uploading videos to YouTube is quick and intuitive. They accept a wide range of video file formats and include troubleshooting assistance for files they don’t support. With tools to help you improve the video quality and even edit the video, YouTube has made it easy to create a great video product online for free.

Facebook video

This brings us to Facebook Video. Facebook is already the #1 online platform to promote and share videos, regardless of where the video is hosted. It’s also made significant inroads recently as a video hosting platform. Let’s look at the stats.

• Increased Market Share — In December 2014, brands posted 20,000 more videos on Facebook than YouTube. Prior to that, YouTube had been the unquestioned leader for years in Facebook uploads. Facebook now has overtaken them and is showing significant strength going forward.

• Robust Ad Capabilities — Facebook offers targeted advertising, meaning that your business can easily connect with the demographic you want to reach. Moreover, if you create a video ad, you can easily track direct engagements and drive your ideal target to the video, and ultimately to your website.

• Connecting with Customers Where They Are — People are on Facebook, averaging nearly 40 minutes per day! Hosting videos within the platform makes your brand accessible and easy to share. Your video will pop-up on a customer’s news feed right between posts from their friends and family, and ideally, they’ll then share it with their family and friends!

• Auto-play — This feature allows you to hook your audience as they scroll through their news feed. Only Facebook videos have auto-play capability in the news feed. Smart businesses include catchy visual content in the first few seconds to keep people watching.

• Reach – Right now videos loaded to Facebook pages generally have much greater reach (fans seeing the post) in the news feed than other types of posts like text, links, and even photos. So it’s smart to use what is working best on Facebook.

The verdict: Be smart, load each video to both.

YouTube is definitely a powerful online video platform, and it has the power of Google behind it. Videos should definitely be loaded to this platform for the SEO value and long term searchability power it offers. As well, videos should be loaded to Facebook when you want traction in the news feed that can drive engagement for your Facebook page and visitors to your website. It’s not a “either, or” situation but a “both, and” really! One video can easily be loaded to each location and shared there, creating the power to help your business on each and across the web the most.

There’s no doubt that YouTube currently holds the top spot in the video platform industry, but there’s a significant hint that it might change real soon. Facebook, considered as YouTube’s potential rival, has reported a dramatic rise in video content uploads in the recent months.  A staggering 75% more videos are being uploaded this year compared to the previous year.

Despite of its sudden surge, brands are definitely not leaving YouTube just yet.

Below are just some of the new campaigns that recently kicked off on YouTube.

Dove Men+Care captures first moment of fatherhood in YouTube spot

The moment when an unknowing father-to-be is shown his partner’s positive pregnancy test forms the basis of a video for Dove Men+Care ahead of this Sunday’s Father’s Day.

Several of the 13 real-life men ask: “You’re pregnant?”, their faces cracking with joy as they run in to embrace their partners.Consumers are encouraged to visit YouTube to view the film and to share their own #RealStrength stories, fatherhood advice or a ‘first fatherhood moment’ via Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.

“Real strength means showing you care even from the first moment,” onscreen copy reads. “Dove Men+Care. Share your advice and help new dads grow stronger. #RealStrength. Care makes a man s+ronger.”

Brands tapping publishers is definitely not new to us any longer. bloggers seem to attract brand partnership or sponsorship because of their following who are mostly ready to purchase products. For publishers, this is a very lucrative convention.

Netmums founder signs Pampers deal for Channel Mum YouTube platform

Netmums co-founder Siobhan Freegard has signed a partnership with Pampers to promote her recently launched new venture – video parenting site Channel Mum.

The deal is Channel Mum’s first commercial tie-up and kicks off with real mums sharing their tips for recording ‘baby firsts’ such as smiling, crawling and walking.

Viewers can win a video camera by sharing their own suggestions on social media, using the hashtag #babyfirsts, with the competition kicking off on Monday (15 June).

Freegard, who was awarded an OBE, launched YouTube-hosted Channel Mum in January this year.

The partnership, which was managed by Hill & Knowlton Strategies, builds on nappy brand Pampers’ campaign with the National Childbirth Trust, which is a study following new parents during the first 1,000 days of their new child’s life. Pampers has created a video about “first milestones” to support the study, with the Channel Mum partnership boosting awareness.

Freegard said: “This really is a campaign of firsts. ‘Baby firsts’ are the most precious moments in a parent’s life – so it’s fitting our first partnership celebrates them. It’s a campaign mums will engage with and even shed a tear over. Video is the most powerful way to show the emotion behind each moment and to capture it too.

“Pampers are a brand loved and trusted by mums so we are delighted to be working on such a wonderful project with them.”

YouTube’s “Music Insights” Help Musicians Meet Their Fans

If you talk about video publishing platforms, more likely than not, YouTube will come to your mind first. Latest data say that it now has more than 1 billion users and that people around the world watch hundreds of millions of hours on YouTube everyday.

These numbers don’t surprise anymore. YouTube is the world’s second largest search engine after all, just behind Google.

If you’re a musician who ditched YouTube before, there’s no other good time to come back, but now. YouTube has decided to indulge further into the music industry  by rolling out its new data analytic tool that helps musicians examine how their musics are being consumed and where these videos are viewed from.

The following article written by Brittany Umar details how this new tool works and what exactly it can do.

Google’s YouTube Unveils Tool to Help Artists Track Their Fans

YouTube is delving deeper into the music business, unveiling a new tool aimed at helping artists better understand how their music is being received around the world.

The data tool, called Music Insights, is part of the recently launched “YouTube for Artists” Web site. It can show cities around the world where an artist is popular, an artist’s top tracks on YouTube and views from official music videos and fan uploads.

YouTube says it calculates an artist’s total aggregated views using the site’s Content ID system, including data from September 2014 and onwards. It also breaks down an artist’s fanbase in terms of cities and countries where the artist has the highest total views.

YouTube for Artists Product Manager Michael Cumberbatch said artists can leverage the data to help their careers.

“This data can help you get a song added to radio by showing a programmer how big your local fan base is,” Cumberbatch wrote to artists in a blog post. “It can be a great resource when mapping a tour, since top cities could be a good indicator for where fans might come out to see a concert. And you can share insights from your data to build buzz for a new video or express appreciation to the fans who helped get you here.”

For now, Music Insights offers data for more than 10,000 of the most popular artists on YouTube and Google, and YouTube says it plans to add more artists all the time.

As this new tool gives musicians a detailed information about their audience, this opens a way on how musicians can reach out to them even further. Reports produced by this new tool will help musicians plot tours and even convince radios to play their songs.

YouTube’s new analytics tool uncovers some astonishing insider facts about the world’s most prominent musical performers. Reports produced by this new tool allow musicians plan tours and even convince radios to play their songs.

Hear are some of the astonishing discoveries Music Insight has uncovered so far:

YouTube’s new analytics tool reveals some surprising secrets about the world’s most popular musicians

Music Insight lets artists see where their videos are being streamed, helping them plot tours and target their most fervent fans.

“This data can help you get a song added to radio by showing a programmer how big your local fan base is,” YouTube told musicians on its blog.

It also reveals that, for example, Ed Sheeran is “big in the Phillippines”.

His videos have been streamed in the country more than 178 million times since September 2014, making it his third biggest market after the US and the UK.

Sheeran discovered the Phillippines’ enthusiasm in March, when he played the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

“This is honestly, hand on heart, 100 per cent the best reception I’ve ever received,” the British star said.

Katy Perry is more popular in Mexico City than anywhere in the United States

The singer’s videos were watched 44.9 million times in Mexico City over the last nine months, three times as many as New York, her biggest city in the US.

But overall, the singer’s popularity in the US outstrips her Mexican audience, with 372 million streams compared to 231 million.

Half of Scotland has listened to the Proclaimers

The Scottish duo have been streamed 250,811 times in Edinburgh, and 206.903 times in Glasgow – that’s roughly one play for every two residents.

Their biggest city is London, with 692,714 streams, but that represents just 9 per cent of the population.

Country music doesn’t travel well

Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have been named male and female vocalist of the year five times running by the Country Music Awards.

But their fanbase is almost entirely restricted to the USA – with Houston, Chicago and Dallas listed as their top three cities.

A random sample of other country stars (Kacey Musgraves, Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban) returns the same three cities.

Dolly Parton is the exception that breaks the rule – and she breaks it quite spectacularly. Her top five territories are London, Bucharest, Nairobi, Tel Aviv and Dublin.

The Beatles trump the Stones

At some point, every music fan has to pick a side: The Beatles or the Rolling Stones?

Well, according to YouTube, The Beatles have won. Their music has been played 667 million times, compared to The Stones’ paltry 474 million.

Liverpudlians are more decisive on the matter. The Beatles have notched up 876,403 streams in their hometown – but the city doesn’t feature anywhere in The Stones’ top 100.

For the record, Paul McCartney is more popular than John Lennon, and Oasis beat Blur by a factor of 2:1.

YouTube says it’s also making YouTube for Artists available in 22 languages

The data tool is part of the recently launched “YouTube for Artists” Web site.

“Success on YouTube leads to greater overall success as an artist,” Marly Ellis, the global head of artist marketing, said in a blog post. “That includes getting your YouTube views to lead to charting on Billboard, airtime on SiriusXM and NRJ in France, and free production resources at our YouTube Space locations around the world.”
